Biology (AS/A-Level)

If you`re interested in discovering how living organisms work, relate to each other and to the environment then this course could be for you! You`ll also look at physiology, genetics, cell biology, microbiology and ecology and develop many transferable skills, including experimental techniques. This course will help to get you started in a rewarding career in the health services, environmental protection, microbiology or biotechnology. Some of these require study in greater depth at university and A-level Biology can lead into degrees in Ecology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Medicine and Microbiology.
