Chemistry (AS/A-Level)

Our enthusiastic staff will help you build on the knowledge you gained in GCSE Science. You will also have the opportunity to devise and plan experimental or investigative activities and interpret, evaluate and communicate their results. A popular part of the course is the visit to The Black Sheep Brewery in the Dales to study the biochemistry behind the brewing industry! A-level Chemistry is essential in order to study Medicine, Veterinary Science, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science and is useful for a great variety of other courses and careers.
