English Language (AS/A-Level)

English Language is an analytical subject and provides useful communication skills. This means it will help you with all your other subjects and is highly regarded by universities and employers. You will learn to analyse all types of language and will also focus on spoken language, how it works and how to write transcripts. You`ll get opportunities to demonstrate your own expertise in writing and take part in field trips to support your technical writing skills. You also study how language makes meaning and how language has changed and is changing across time.
