Bus Travel

We understand that furthering your education can sometimes come with extra costs. This could include travel, especially if you live more than 10 miles from College. With this in mind, we’ve reduced our bus fares even further to ensure you’re getting the best deal possible. From September 2011, any of our East Riding college buses (W1, W2, W3, W4) cost a maximum of 50p per single journey for Wilberforce students.

To extend this offer to our Hull applicants, we are offering Stagecoach Megariders for only £5 – a deal exclusively available to all Wilberforce students to buy every week from Student Services. If a student uses their Megarider to get to and from College everyday this will equate to each journey costing only 50p. Use it more often and your journeys will be even cheaper!

BRAND NEW SERVICE: 10W - West Hull

This is a brand new service from Stagecoach, which will start in September 2012..The bus will stop on Hessle Road, Askew Avenue, Boothferry Road, Calvert Lane, Spring Bank West, Chanterlands Avenue, Bricknell Ave, Hall Road, Beverley Road Tesco, Sutton Park, North Point and Howdale. Students will be able to use their £5 college megariders on this service.

What do you want?

These are the times and routes for 2011, and are subject to change for 2012 to accommodate requests from parents and students, such as W3 stopping at Asda Kingswood. We review our routes every year to ensure they serve all the areas our students travel in from. Stagecoach buses

Parking

If you drive a car or motorbike there is student parking in front of the College. You will just need to get a free parking permit by applying at Student Services.

Cycling

Many of our students cycle to college, so we have just installed a large secure cycle compound with a thumb print scanner. Once you have your student ID Card at the beginning of term you just need to register for free at Student Services.
